 الإجــَـــابــَـــات Answers

الــســَّــيــِّـــدة فــَــاطــِــمــَـــة هــِــىَ طــَـــبـــَّــــاخـــَـــة مــَــغـــْــرِبــِـــيـــَّـــة .       

1) Mrs. Fatimah is a Moroccan cook.

تــُــقــَــدِّمُ الــســَّــيــِّــدَةُ فــَــاطــِــمــَـــةُ دُرُوســـًا يــَــوْمــِــيــَّــةً فـِـى فــَــنْ الــطــَّــبــْــخِ الــمــَــغــْــربــِــىّ .  

2) Mrs. Fatimah presents daily lessons in the art of Moroccan cooking.

تــُــقــَـــدِّمُ الــســَّــيــِّـــدَةُ فــَــاطــِــمــَـــةُ هــَـــذهِ الــدُّروسَ لــِــعــَــدَدٍ مـِــنَ الــســَـــيــِّــدَاتِ الأُوروبــِــيــَّــات .  

3) Mrs. Fatimah presents these lessons to a number of European women.

الأكــْــلــَــةُ الأشــْــهــَـــرُ فـى مــَــرَاكــِــشْ و أغــَـــاديـــر و الــمــَــمــْــلــَــكــَــة الــمــَــغــْــربــِــيـــَّـــة هـِـىَ الــطــَّــاجــِــنْ .  

4) The most famous dish in Marrakesh, Agadir and the Kingdom of Morocco is الــطــَّــاجــِــنْ/Al-Taj’in/.

عــَـــدَدْ الأكــَـــلاتْ الــمــَـــغــْــربــِــيـــَّـــةِ هــُــوَ خــُــمــْــســُــمــائــِــة (500) أو ســُــتــُــمــائــِــة (600) تــَــقــْــريــبــــًا .

5) There are about 500 or 600 Moroccan dishes.

تــَــتــَــجــَــلــَّـــى مــُــتــْـــعــَـــةُ الــتــَّـــســَـــوُّقِ لـِــلــْــمــُـــســَــافــِــرْ إلى مــَــديــنــَـــة أغــَــاديـــر فـِـى ســُـــوقِ الأحــَـــد .  

6) The traveler to Agadir can find the fun of shopping in the Sunday Market.

– الأرْجــَـــانْ هــُــوَ شــَـــجــَـــرْ ، مــَـــوْجــُــودٌ فــَــقــَـــط فـِــى الــمــَــغــْــرِبْ و الــمــِــكــْــســِــك .

– الــمــَــغــْــربُ هــُــوَ الـبــَــلــَــدُ الــوَحــِــيــدُ الــذى يــَــســْــتــَــغــِـــلُّ هــذا الــشــَّـــجــَــر فـِـى عــَــمــَــلْ (صــُــنــْــعْ) الــزُّيــُـــوت و الــتـى تـــُــســْـــتــَــخــْـــدَمْ بــِــدَوْرِهــَـــا فــِــى صــِــنــَــاعــَــة الــمــُــســْــتــَــحــْــضــَــرات الــطــِّــبــِــيــَّــةِ و مــُــســْــتــَــحــْــضــَــرَات الــتــَّــجــْــمــِـــيــل .

7) – Argan is a kind of tree that grows only in Morocco and México.

– Morocco is the only country that uses argan in making oils which in turn are used in making medication and cosmetics.

8) Complete the following sentences:

– “أُحــِـــبُّ الــطــَّــبــْــخَ ، و قــَــدْ أُعــْــجــِــبــْـــتُ بــِ تــَــنــَـــوُّعِ الــطــَــعــَــام فــِــى الــمــَــطــْــبــَــخِ الــمــَــغــْــربــِــىّ”

– “I like cooking and I have admired the multiplicity of food in the Moroccan kitchen.”

– “الــمــَــطــْــبــَـــخُ الــمــَــغــْــربــِــىُّ يــَــجــْــعــَــلــْــنــِــى جــُــزْءًا مــِــنْ الــمــَــغــْــرِبْ”

– “The Moroccan kitchen makes me part of Morocco.”

جــَـــمــْـــع كــَــلــِــمــَــة : “طــَــعــَـــام” هــُـــوَ “أَطــْــعــِــمــَــة”

جــَـــمــْـــع كــَــلــِــمــَــة : “مــَـــائــِــدَة” هــُــوَ “مــَـــوَائــِـــد”

جــَـــمــْـــع كــَــلــِــمــَــة : “طــَــاجــِـــنْ” هــُــوَ “طــَــوَاجــِـــنْ”

جــَـــمــْـــع كــَــلــِــمــَــة : “فــَـــنْ” هــُــوَ “فــُـــنــُـــونْ”  

9) The plural of the word: طــَــعــَـــام” (= food) is“أَطــْــعــِــمــَــة”.

    The plural of the word: مــَـــائــِــدَة(= food table) is“مــَـــوَائــِـــد”.

    The plural of the word: طــَــاجــِـــنْ” (= dish) is“طــَــوَاجــِـــنْ”.

    The plural of the word: فــَـــنْ” (= art) is“فــُـــنــُـــونْ”. 

مــُــرادِفْ كــَــلــِــمــَــة : “تـــَــتــَــجــَـــلــَّــى” هــُــوَ “تــَــظــْــهــَـــرْ”

مــُــرادِفْ كــَــلــِــمــَــة : “رَافــَـــقَ” هــُــوَ “صــَــاحــَـــبَ”

مــُــرادِفْ كــَــلــِــمــَــة : “تــَــســْـــطــَـــعْ” هــُــوَ “تــَــلــْــمــَــع”  

10) The synonym of the verb: تـــَــتــَــجــَـــلــَّــى” (= appear) is“تــَــظــْــهــَـــرْ”  

      The synonym of the verb:رَافــَـــقَ(= appear) is“صــَــاحــَـــبَ” 

The synonym of the verb:تــَــســْـــطــَـــعْ(= shine) is“تــَــلــْــمــَــع”

تـــَــرْجــَــمــَــة الـجــُــمـْــلــَــة إلـى اللـغــة الإنـجــلـيــزيـة :

11) Translation of the sentence into English:

الــطــَّــعــَــامُ الــمــَــغــْــربــِــىُّ مــُــتــَــنــَــوِّعُ ، و الــمــَــائــِــدَةُ فـِــى الــمــَــمــْــلــَـــكــَـــةِ رَائــِــعــَـــة”

“Moroccan food is multiple (diverse) and the table in Morocco is wonderful.”
