There are so many famous places to see in Beijing that it’s a bit overwhelming. I spent 5 years living in the city and there are still some places I haven’t been yet. When traveling in Beijing, it’s always good to know the Chinese names for these famous landmarks. Here’s a vocabulary list with 30 of them for you:

wǒ yǐ jīng qù guò hěn duō dì fāng zài běi jīng. bǐrú tiān’ān mén guǎng chǎng, tiān tán, yí hé yuán, shén me de. wǒ zuì xǐ huān cháng chéng yīn wèi nà lǐ de fēng jǐng hěn piào liang.

I’ve already been to a lot of places in Beijing. For example Tiananmen Square, the Temple of Heaven, the Summer Palace, and so on. My favorite is the Great Wall because the scenery there is very beautiful.
