Hanging Monastery and Mt. Heng Video Tour Posted by on Jul 13, 2013 in Culture

Take a video of the incredible Hanging Monastery and Mt. Heng, two famous sights in Datong, China. The monastery was built over 1,500 years ago in the side of a cliff, 75 meters above ground. Mt. Heng, meanwhile, is one of the Five Great Mountains in Chinese culture.

大同 – dà tóng

悬空寺 – xuán kōng sì
Hanging Monastery

佛教, 道教, 和儒教 – fó jiào dào jiào hé rú jiào
Buddism, Taoism, and Confucianism

不要害怕 – bú yào hài pà
Don’t be afraid!

恒山 – héng shān
Mt. Heng

五岳 – wǔ yuè
Five Great Mountains

北岳 – běi yuè
Northern Great Mountain

春天很好 – 不冷也不热 – chūn tiān hěn hǎo – bù lěng yě bú rè
Spring is very nice – it’s neither cold nor hot.
