    This looks like a great option to enter Vietnam by land? Are you sure you don’t have to be a Chinese resident to apply at the Kunming embassy? I’m just a European tourist trying to cross by land from China to Vietnam 🙂 Thanks!

      @Vince I’m positive that anyone can apply for a visa there. You’ll have to hang out in Kunming for a bit while you wait for it to process but that’s all!
