I am going to write in English as my French is not really good enough to express myself precisely. I need to buy a good up to date French-English/English-French dictionary which includes modern colloquialisms. I am prepared to spend a fair amount of money (on two volumes if necessary) as reference books when I look at French language websites and newspapers on line. It would be useful also to have a more compact version for use when travelling in France). My existing dictionaries are really quite old fashioned and not very comprehensive. Any advice or recommendations for both printed and online dictionaries would be welcome.

  10. Serge:

Did you erase my comments? That’s not professional at all 🙁
