• μέτρα στήριξης (τα)= support measures

Η κυβέρνηση θα αναγγείλει μέτρα στήριξης των εργαζομένων.

The government will announce support measures for workers.

• μετακίνηση (η)= movement

Οι πολίτες έχουν άδεια μετακίνησης μόνο αν υπάρχει σοβαρός λόγος.

The citizens have the right to move (lit.movement permit) only if there is a good reason.

• αναστολή εργασίας (η)= suspension from work

Θα δωθεί επίδομα σε όσους μπουν σε αναστολή εργασίας από τον Νοέμβριο.

A benefit will be offered to those who will be suspended from work in November (lit.)

• κατ’οίκον= remote (literally: at home)

Το κόστος της αιμοληψίας κατ’οίκον είναι 10 ευρώ.

The cost of blood tests at home is ten euros.

• lockdown / καθολικό (εθνικό) lockdown (το)= general (national) lockdown

Το καθολικό lockdown θα ξεκινήσει από το Σάββατο στις 6.00 π.μ.

The general lockdwon will start on Saturday at 6.00 a.m.

• Μονάδα Εντατικής Θεραπείας (ΜΕΘ) (η)= Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Διάβασα ότι θα προσληφθούν τριακόσιοι γιατροί στις ΜΕΘ.

I read that 300 doctors will be hired for ICUs.

• διανομή (η)= delivery

Τα εστιατόρια θα εκτελούν υπηρεσίες takeaway και διανομής φαγητού.

The restaurants will offer takeaway and delivery services (lit.)
