कविता (Kavita – Poem) : गुणगान (Gungaan – Song of Praise)
(Maithili Sharan Gupt)

Your house has many doors
from which door I may come in?
On every door, there is crowd
how to go through them?

Doormen show the fear
Only few of people could learn
and remaining just struggle
What I do to enter
your house has many doors
from which door I may come in?

after doing a splendor imagination of yours
and by satisfying with its details
the people of outside are forgetting
how do I forget you?
your house has many doors
from which door I do come in?

all the time has passed by
but my turn didn’t come
now i will prepare for a hut
and will sit there and sing praising hymns
your house has many doors
from which door I do come in?

I move into hut after opening the door
and i remain like that (in surprise)
and find you saying to me
“Guest, tell what do I bring to you”?
your house has many doors
from which door I do come in?

    Dear Nitinji,

My compliments for choosing this nice poem by Shri Maithilisharanji for your blog. The great poet indicates existence of many paths (faiths) to reach Him, but we are always in multiple minds to take one and proceed. That prevents us from reaching Him. What is required is to open any door and we find Him very much there waiting to receive us.

Will it not be an acceptable deviation to provide such an insight into poetic blogs at least?

    Saadar Namaskar……..A.C.Jain
