Semana passada vimos algumas expressões, perguntas e respostas comuns quando vamos a um restaurante num país de língua inglesa. Hoje continuamos com a segunda parte do post e vamos aprender a fazer mais pedidos e no final, pedir a conta. Check this out!

Can you bring me …? – Pode me trazer …?
Could you please bring me/us …? – Poderia me/nos trazer …, por favor?

a straw – um canudinho
an ashtray – um cinzeiro
a glass with ice cubes – um copo com gelo
the salt / sugar – o sal / açúcar
some bread and butter – pão e manteiga
another fork / knife / spoon – um outro garfo / faca / colher
some toothpicks – uns palitos de dente
some napkins – alguns guardanapos

Could you change the tablecloth, please? – Poderia trocar a toalha da mesa, por favor?
Where are the restrooms, please? – Onde ficam os banheiros, por favor?
I’ll have a coffee, please. – Vou tomar um café, por favor.
I think I’ll just have a coffee. – Acho que só vou tomar um café.
I’ll have an espresso. – Vou tomar um café expresso.

Lunch / dinner was delicious. – O almoço / jantar estava delicioso.
I can’t eat anything else, I’m stuffed / full. – Não consigo comer mais nada, estou cheio.
I think I’ll pass dessert. – Acho que vou pular a sobremesa.

I’ll have the chocolate cake. – Vou querer o bolo de chocolate.
I’d like the strawberry ice cream. – Quero o sorvete de morango.

Can you bring us the check? – Pode nos trazer a conta?
Is the service / tip included? – O serviço / gorjeta está incluído?
Should we tip the waiter? – Deveríamos dar uma gorjeta ao garçom?
Can you get us a receipt, please? – Faz uma notinha pra gente, por favor.
