The month of August is a great time to attend various music and film festivals in South Korea.

The EBS International Documentary Festival (EIDF) showcases documentaries that probe questions about society and its institutions. This year it’ll take place on the 23rd of August.

This year The Busan Rock Festival will take place on August 6th to the 8th. The festival features foreign bands as well as local acts.

The Jecheon International Music and Film Festival will take place August 12-17 this year. Like the title suggests, it is a film and music festival.

The Jisan Valley Rock Festival is a three day event that begins in July and ends in August. A mixture of Korean and foreign bands play to large crowds :
