Negative Form of Progressive Tense in the Future Posted by on Nov 30, 2015 in Uncategorized

Today, you are going to learn how to say the negative form of progressive tense in the future which is “V.S. + 고 있지 않을 거예요.” It is that I will be NOT doing something in English. Please read the examples; , they are the same verb I use last week, so you can compare how they are different.

To go –가다

가고 있지 않을 거다 – 가고 있지 않을 거예요

집에 가고 있지 않을 거예요/I will be not going.

To eat – 먹다

먹고 있지 않을 거다 – 먹고 있지 않을 거예요

밥을 먹고 있지 않을 거예요/ I will be not eating a meal.

To watch/to see 보다

보고 있지 않을 거다 – 보고 있지 않을 거예요

저는 영화를 보고 있지 않을 거예요/ I will be not watching a movie.

To meet- 만나다

만나고 있지 않을 거다 – 만나고 있지 않을 거예요

저는 친구를 만나고 있을 거예요/I will be not meeting a friend.

To study – 공부하다

공부하고 있지 않을 거다 – 공부하고 있지 않을 거예요

저는 공부하고 있지 않을 거예요/I will be not studying.
