What is better than fresh, crispy warm bread? That’s what I remember growing up in Poland. There was no toast! My mother either baked her own bread or we had fresh warm bread delivered in the morning to our house:) Yum!

They are delicious , especially if you make them yourself! I tried many frozen from the grocery store…and they are definitely not the real deal. You either have to learn how to make them yourself or find a true Polish restaurant to enjoy them!

My husband’s favorite Polish food are gołąbki! They are delicious, especially on cold days! Easy to make, you can freeze them and save for later:)

Mushroom picking is so popular in Poland! You can make delicious sauces, side dishes, pickle them, bake them – you name it! I love fresh mushrooms from the forest! (Of course you have to know what you are doing).

Can’t live without pączki on Fat Thursday, or really any day! They are so yummy, delicious! My mother makes amazing ones!

One more very traditional meal you can find on a Polish table is flaki soup! May not sound very appetizing…but wait till you try it! It’s soooo god…and great for hangover as well:)
