Anytime you travel, you deal with money. If it is online banking, ATM withdrawals, transferring money from and to different accounts or sending money to your family. If you happen to move to Poland, you may want to open a new account or get a loan. These phrases will help you with all of that!

I want to make a withdrawal – chciałbym/chciałabym wypłacić pieniądze
how would you like the money? – w jakich nominałach?
in tens, please – poproszę w dziesiątkach
could you give me some smaller notes? – czy mogę prosić o banknoty o niższych nominałach?

how many days will it take for the cheque to clear? – ile dni zajmie rozliczenie czeku?
have you got any …? – czy ma pan/pani jakiś …?
identification – dokument tożsamości
ID  – dokument tożsamości

I’ve got my … – mam mój …
passport – paszport
driving licence – prawo jazdy
ID card – dowód osobisty
your account’s overdrawn – stan pana konta jest przekroczony

I’d like to open an account – chciałbym/chciałabym otworzyć konto
I’d like to open a personal account – chciałbym/chciałabym otworzyć konto osobiste
I’d like to open a business account – chciałbym/chciałabym otworzyć konto firmowe
could you tell me my balance, please? – czy może mi pan/pani podać saldo?
could I have a statement, please? – czy mogę prosić o wyciąg?

where’s the nearest ATM machine? –  gdzie jest najbliższy bankomat?
what’s the interest rate on this account? – jakie oprocentowanie ma to konto?
what’s the current interest rate for personal loans? – jakie jest obecnie oprocentowanie kredytów indywidualnych?
I’ve lost my bank card – zgubiłem/zgubiłam swoją kartę płatniczą

I want to report a …- chciałbym/chciałabym zgłosić …
lost credit card – utratę karty kredytowej
stolen credit card – kradzież karty kredytowej

we’ve got a joint account – mamy wspólne konto
I’d like to tell you about a change of address – chciałbym/chciałabym poinformować o zmianie adresu
I’ve forgotten my Internet banking password – zapomniałem/zapomniałam hasła dostępu do bankowości elektronicznej
I’ve forgotten the PIN number for my card – zapomniałem/zapomniałam kod PIN do mojej karty
I’ll have a new one sent out to you – wyślemy panu nową kartę
