Hello, there!
Today we have a very common idiom im Portuguese: não pregar o olho.
It means “not to sleep a wink” and it happens to everybody once in a while. Here are some examples:
The music was so loud at the neighbor’s that I couldn’t sleep a wink.
I have three tests this week and I have to submit a huge paper by Friday. I haven’t been able to sleep a wink because of that.
