Rio’s Annual Floating Christmas Tree Inaugurated Posted by on Dec 1, 2008 in Uncategorized

This weekend, Bradesco’s annual floating Christmas tree was revealed on Rio de Janeiro’s lagoon. An annual tradition, the 85 meter-tall tree boasts an impressive light and sound show that can be seen and heard every night during the Christmas season.

The event included a concert featuring various Brazilian singers, as well as fireworks, which Cariocas and visitors can enjoy for free every Saturday in December. The tree is the largest floating Christmas tree in the world.
