Hello, there!

In today’s post I’m going to cover several key sentences for you to use when you describe your romantic Valentine’s Day evening.

You ready? Let’s do this!

Me arreglé bien. – I got all dressed up.
Me latía el corazón. – My heart was beating fast.
La fui a buscar en su casa. – I picked her up at her house.
Le llevé flores. – I brought her flowers.
Él me trajo flores. – He brought me flowers.
Él me abrió la puerta. – He opened the door for me.
Ella estaba hermosa/preciosa. – She looked gorgeous.
Él estaba estupendo. – He looked very handsome.
Él me dijo que estaba preciosa. – He said I looked gorgeous.
Ella estaba tan perfumada. – She smelled so good.
No conseguía dejar de mirarla. – I couldn’t stop looking at her.
Quería que fuera una noche especial. – I wanted the night to be special.
Fuimos a cenar a un restaurante muy bueno. – We went to this really nice restaurant.
Cenamos a luz de velas. – We had a candlelight dinner.
Nos miramos a los ojos. – We stared into each other’s eyes.
Estaba con muchas ganas de besarla. – I kept wanting to kiss her.
Me sentí como un adolescente. – I felt like a teenager.
Ella me daba a entender que también quería. – She kept sending me signals.
Él me puso el brazo sobre los ombros. – He put his arm around me.
Nos tomamos de la mano. – We held hands.
Nos besamos. – We kissed.
Sentí algo especial. – Sentí algo diferente.
Fuimos a dar una vuelta a pie. – We went for a walk.
Bailamos juntos. – We danced together.
La acompañé hasta la puerta de su casa. – I walked her to her door.
Nos quedamos delante de la chimenea. – We sat by the fire.
Pasamos la noche abrazados. – We spent the night cuddling.
Tuvimos una noche especial. – We had a special evening.
No veo la hora de verla de nuevo. – I can’t wait to see her again.
