Playa del Carmen (Video) Posted by on Jun 24, 2012 in Uncategorized

While Playa del Carmen is a fully developed tourist destination –  and by that I mean old, fat, shirtless men everywhere – it’s not quite as crazy as its neighbor to the north, Cancun. The pedestrian only 5th Avenue is lined with shops, restaurants, and bars, and its just a stone’s throw away from a beautiful beach. After a week of running around Mayan ruins, we thoroughly enjoyed a few days of relaxing on the beach with margaritas by day and sampling the local nightlife by night.
