Popular Swedish Podcasts Posted by Tibor on Aug 21, 2017 in Culture
Radio podcasts and programs are a great way learning and practicing Swedish. So I have tried to found the most popular, interesting and funny pods and programs for you that most Swedes listen to. For you who wouldn’t know what a podcast is wikipedia says: A podcast is an episodic series of digital audio files which a user can download and listen to. It is often available for subscription, so that new episodes are automatically downloaded via web syndication to the user’s own local computer, mobile application, or portable media player. The word arose as a portmanteau of “iPod” (a brand of media player) and “broadcast”. Thus, the files distributed are in audio format, but may sometimes include other file formats such as PDF or ePub. Videos which are shared following a podcast model are called video podcasts or vodcasts.

The funniest podcast I’ve found in Swedish is Alex & Sigges Podcast, released weekly.
Konflikt i P1 is also a great production from SR if one is interested in geopolitics.
Tibor:
