The Eid spirit is still around us! I hope that those who celebrated Eid had a wonderful time with family and friends. In keeping with last week’s post, this week’s post will provide even more words and vocabulary related to Eid Al-fitr, through listening a song by Zain, about Eid.

So we can learn more about Eid and the words often used in this occasion, I chose a song (see clip below) made by Zain for Eid 2016. The song is about this poor girl فتاة فقيرة and a begger شحّات who can’t afford celebrating Eid or buy sweets حلويات and new clothes ملابس جديدة. After this, you will have the chance to check your understanding of the song by answering four brief questions below.

فالخير له أجر كبير

For doing good can bring a great reward
