توفيت المهندسة المعمارية “زها حديد” بسبب نوبة قلبية.     

1) The architect ‘Zaha Hadid’ died from a heart attack.

ولدت زها حديد فى العاصمة العراقية “بغداد” فى 31 أكتوبر 1950.

2) Zaha Hadid was born in the Iraqi capital ‘Baghdad’ on 31 October, 1950.

درست “زها حديد” علم الرياضيات أولاً فى الجامعة الأمريكية بـ “بيروت”.   

3)  Zaha Hadid studied Mathematics first at the American University of Beirut.

فى عام 1972 بدأت “زها حديد” مشوارها فى عالم الهندسة المعمارية لدى هيئة المهندسين المعماريين بالعاصمة البريطانية “لندن”.

4) In 1972, Zaha Hadid began her journey into the World of Architecture at the Architectural Association School of Architecture, in London.

اِفتتحت “زها حديد” مكتبها فى لندن سنة 1979  تحت اسم “Zaha Hadid Architects“.

تميزت مشروعات “زها حديد” بأنها مشروعات خارجة عن المألوف.

المشروعات التى جعلت “زها حديد” مشهورة هى: مشروع “Peak” في هونغ كونغ عام 1983، ومشروع دار “Cardiff Bay” للأوبرا في “ويلز” ببريطانيا عام 1994.

من بعض المشروعات التى أعطت “زها حديد” سمعة عالمية: مبنى محطة “Vitra” للإطفاء بألمانيا عام 1993، بالإضافة إلى مبنى متحف الفن الإيطالي في القرن الحادي والعشرين في روما عام 2009، ومركز لندن للرياضات البحرية والذي خصص للألعاب الأولمبية التي أقيمت عام 2012، و مركز حيدر علييف الثقافي في باكو عام 2013.   

8) Some of the projects that gave Zaha a universal reputation are: the building of Vitra Fire Station, Germany 1993, the building of the National Museum of XXI Century Arts in Rome 2009, the London Center of Watersports where the 2012 Olympic Games took place and the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center in Baku, 2013.

حصلت “زها حديد” على العديد من الميداليات والألقاب الشرفية، من بينها ميدالية “Commandeur de l’ordre des Arts et des Lettres” من فرنسا، والوسام الإمبراطوري الياباني عام 2012، حصلت على لقب قائدة من طبقة الامبراطورية البريطانية. كما أصبحت “زها” عضواً شرفياً في الأكاديمية الأمريكية للفنون وزميلة في مركز الهندسة الأمريكي. و في عام 2014 كانت “زها حديد” أول امرأة تتلقى جائزة “Pritzker” للهندسة. كما حازت “حديد” عام 2016 على الميدالية الذهبية الملكية ضمن جائزة “RIBA” للفنون الهندسية، لتصبح أول امرأة تحظى بها.

9) Zaha Hadid obtained many medals and honorary names some of them are: the Medal of “Commandeur de l’ordre des Arts et des Lettres” from France, The Praemium Imperiale from Japan 2012 and Commander of the Civil Division of the Order of the British Empire. Zaha also became an honorary member at the American Academy of Arts and a colleague at the American Architecture center. In 2014, Zaha was the first woman to receive the “Pritzker” Prize and a gold medal in “RIBA” Architectures.
