The Arabic Guide on Must Know Words about the Oscars Posted by jesa on Feb 26, 2017 in Arabic Language, Culture
Marhaba! My dear Arabic lovers, you all know by now that my wife and I love watching movies and the annual ceremony awards for different categories. In earlier posts, I have raised my frustrations about the selection process for movies and why some actors, short films, or documentaries are excluded from the competition. Tonight, millions of people around the globe will be watching the 89th Annual Academy Awards or also know as the Oscars ceremony to celebrate some of the best artistic work in film-making in the previous year. This is ultimately the biggest night in the film industry and I wanted to provide you all dear Arabic lovers with an Arabic guide to navigate the Oscars.
Similar to previous posts, this is a fun, interesting, and beneficial way to learn about the most hot and recent developments in Arabic. I have translated all the categories in the ceremony tonight to Arabic. I have also transliterated them to help you pronounce them correctly. In the next few days, I will re-post the Arabic Guide on the Oscars and add the winners in every category. Share your thoughts on the Oscars/Academy Awards on this page and/or via our Twitter/Facebook pages.
For now take care and stay tuned for upcoming posts!
Happy Learning!
Have a nice day!!
نهاركم سعيد
