Adele Does it Again by Breaking World Records (2) Posted by on Dec 27, 2015 in Arabic Language

Marhaba! Hope you enjoyed reading about how Adele’s album is outselling other albums in the United States, Great Britain, and other places. I have heard at least two renditions of her latest hit ‘Hello.’ One is a techno version and the second is a parody version of Hello sung by Darth Vader to coincide with the recent release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Today I am sharing the answers to the questions, the translation of the key sentence, the two recent renditions of ‘Hello’, and two of my favorite Adele songs. Enjoy the last days of 2015 and stay tuned for one-of-a-kind end of year post.

Salam everyone! Born as an American to two originally Arab parents, I have been raised and have spent most of my life in Beirut, Lebanon. I have lived my good times and my bad times in Beirut. I was but a young child when I had to learn to share my toys and food with others as we hid from bombs and fighting during the Lebanese Civil War. I feel my connection to Arabic as both a language and culture is severing and so it is with you, my readers and fellow Arabic lovers, and through you that I wish to reestablish this connection by creating one for you.
