Hello everyone!

In this post, I present my best recipe for chicken shawarma. It is from Chef Ahmed’s YouTube channel. I have tried it numerous times and I absolutely love it. It is very easy and works all the time. If you don’t have all the spices, don’t worry! Use the ones you have! If you want to try new spices, feel free to do so! I do it all the time!

For Shawarma:

Whole chicken approximately 1300 grams

For Marinating:

1 teaspoon mixed spices

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Half teaspoon ground cardamom

Half teaspoon ground clove

1 teaspoon ground black peppers

Half teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Somac

1 teaspoon ground ginger

A quarter cup yogurt

2 tablespoons tomato paste

A quarter cup of red vinegar

Juice of half a lemon

Half a chopped lemon

Quarter cup of vegetable oil

Half a tablespoon of salt



1300 غرام دجاج

للخلطة: 1 ملعقة شاي بهار حلو

1 ملعقة شاي قرفة ناعمة

نصف م شاي هال ناعم

نصف م شاي قرنفل ناعم

1 م شاي فلفل اسود

نصف م شاي كمون ناعم

1 م طعام ثوم بودرة

1 م طعام سماق

1 م شاي زنجبيل ناعم

ربع كوب زبادي

2 ملعقة طعام معجون الطماطم

ربع كوب خل احمر

عصير نصف ليمونة

نصف ليمونة مقطعة

ربع كوب زيت نباتي

نصف ملعقة طعام ملح

All you have to do is to wash and cut the chicken as desired, mix all the marinating ingredients together, cover the chicken pieces with them and leave them for a short while and cook them in the oven until ready.
