There are always good and bad times…That’s why we have friends (przyjaciele).

There are friends that you have polite chats with, and there are your best friends. They’re the people who root for you, no matter what. You tell them your deepest, darkest secrets, and instead of heading for the door, they stick around and your bond with them grows stronger.

I put together different phrases in Polish. They are words of encouragement you may need when your friends need you:

Nie martw się – Don’t worry

Wszystko będzie dobrze – Everything will be fine

Wszystko się ułoży – Everything will work out

Zawsze możesz na mnie liczyć – You can always count on me

Możesz liczyć na moją pomoc – You can count on my help

Wiesz, że Cię nie zawiodę – You know I will not disappoint you

Obiecuję to minie – I promise it will pass

Po to są przyjaciele – That’s what friends are for

Pomogę Ci – I will help you

Ja się tym zajmę – I will take care of this

Prawdziwi przyjaciele są zawsze do Twojej dyspozycji – You can always count on true friends

Jak mogę Ci pomóc? – How can I help you

Zabiorę cię na lody – I will take you for ice cream

Pozwól, że zrobię Ci herbatę; sprawi, że poczujesz się lepiej – Let me make you some tea, it will make you feel better

Przykro mi z powodu twojej straty – I’m so sorry for your loss

Przykro mi, że nie czujesz się dobrze – I’m sorry you don’t feel good

Mam nadzieję, że poczujesz się lepiej – I hope you will feel better

Odpocznij trochę – Get some rest

Nie stresuj się za dużo – Don’t stress out too much

Musisz znaleźć czas dla siebie – You have to find some time for yourself
