Conversation Partners Posted by on Sep 4, 2007 in Uncategorized

Get a Brazilian chat-pal for Skype, MSN, Yahoo, AIM

If any of you loyal (thank you!) readers of the Portuguese Blog would like me to arrange a conversation partner, I would be happy to do so. I have an address book full of Brazilians who are enthusiastically learning English who would be happy to participate in such an exchange. Of course all this is free!

It is an amazing experience to work with a chat-pal online. The first thing that jumped out at me was that my anxieties melted away once I realized how much language me and my partner had in common. When one of us had a question that was difficult to phrase in the ‘target’ language, we were able to revert to our native tongue and get our point across.

I really encourage you to try out this fun and exciting opportunity to hone your Brazilian Portuguese skills. You won’t regret it!
