    In my case, I learn Languages more with meaning orientated,in other words I look the approximate meaning so the native listener like in Portugese willl figure it out what I meant, rather than memorizing gramatical rules that one forgets anyway.
    I have met people in America that they say they learned Spanish in High school but do not remember the grammmar, and always tell them nobody remembers the perfect way it is better to approximate the meaning , so those people do not dare to practice because they want to use grammar, and that comes later.
    That is the way I learned also German using Transparent language; my native language is Spanish; I am from Bolivia and live in the uSA.
