Royal Opera House

The Royal Opera House is located in Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman. It is the first opera house in the Arabian Gulf, and the third in the Arab world. Sultan Qaboos bin Said ordered its construction in 2001, completed its construction in 2007, and opened on the twelfth of October 2011. The opera witnessed Arab musical performances, in addition to traditional Omani arts, to attract the local audience. Its hall can accommodate 1,100 people, and the theater area is 460 square meters.
