We’ll watch a clip in Modern Standard Arabic that lists the different Christian sects الطوائف المسيحية existing in Jordan, the churches الكنائس in each area, and the holidays الأعياد they celebrate. In the next post, we’ll learn about their history in Jordan تاريخهم في الأردن, their influence on Jordanian society تأثيرهم على المجتمع الأردني and the Christian-Muslim relationship in Jordan العلاقة المسيحية الإسلامية في الأردن.

After watching this clip, try answering the following questions. Most of what this narrator says is also written in Arabic text so you can pause and read. Answering these questions on paper will help you improve your Arabic spelling as well as store these vocabulary words in long term memory. 😊
