Ahlan, Arabic fans! Today I am presenting a beautiful love song by Amr Diab عــَـــمــْـــرو دِيــَـــاب . The song is entitled “جـرالـي إيـه /garaly eeh/” which translates literally as “What has happened to me?”. Like all of Amr’s songs, the song is on the Egyptian slang (dialect) Arabic which may be a problem to most non-Arabic speakers.
The song “What happened to me?” comes number one in the twelve-song album “الـلـيـلـة /Ellielah/” (Tonight). The album was released on August 22, 2013. From the very first day, the album was best seller in many countries and on iTunes. The song is about 03:42 minutes long. It was written by the poet Tamer Hussein تـامـرحـسـيـن and composed by Amr Diab. Yes, Amr is also a great composer. He composed five songs in this album only. It has very beautiful rhyming and is built of easy repeated words and lines. The music also is very wonderful. I did the English translation for the song and I hope you will love it.
