Inspirational fall quotes in Polish Posted by on Oct 28, 2020 in Nature

As many of you probably know, in Poland, the phrase used to describe the season when the hot days of summer are gone and winter is on the horizon is called the Polish “golden autumn” (Polska Złota Jesień).

From September through November, the trees take on rich hues of gold, rust and  orange and are absolutely stunning.

Why is Polish golden autumn so beautiful?

Here are few inspirational quotes about this beautiful season:)

Love the trees until their leaves fall off, then encourage them to try again next year – Uwielbiaj drzewa, dopóki ich liście nie opadną, a potem zachęć je do ponownej próby w przyszłym roku

Even if something is left undone, everyone must take time to sit still and watch the leaves turn – Nawet jeśli coś nie zostanie zrobione, każdy musi poświęcić trochę czasu, aby usiąść i patrzeć, jak liście zmieniają kolory.

Autumn, the year’s last, loveliest smile – Jesień, ostatni najpiękniejszy uśmiech roku

Fiery colors begin their yearly conquest of the hills, propelled by the autumn winds. Fall is the artist – Ogniste kolory rozpoczynają coroczny podbój wzgórz, napędzany jesiennymi wiatrami. Jesień to artysta.

Of all the seasons, autumn offers the most to man and requires the least of him – Ze wszystkich pór roku jesień daje człowiekowi najwięcej, a najmniej od niego wymaga.

October’s poplars are flaming torches lighting the way to winter – Topole październikowe to płonące pochodnie oświetlające drogę do zimy.

Autumn carries more gold in its pocket than all the other seasons. – Jesień niesie w kieszeni więcej złota niż wszystkie inne pory roku.

I would rather sit on a pumpkin, and have it all to myself, than be crowded on a velvet cushion. – Wolałbym usiąść na dyni i mieć ją całą dla siebie, niż być w tłoku na aksamitnej poduszce.

Fall, the time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale. – Jesień, czas, kiedy wszystko pęka swoim ostatnim pięknem, jakby natura przez cały rok gromadziła to na wielki finał.

The season for enjoying the fullness of life — partaking of the harvest, sharing the harvest with others, and reinvesting and saving portions of the harvest for yet another season of growth – Sezon na cieszenie się pełnią życia – spożywanie żniwa, dzielenie się żniwami z innymi oraz reinwestowanie i oszczędzanie części zbiorów na kolejny sezon wzrostu.

Enjoy this beautiful time of the year! Happy Fall!
