Today I have a beautiful poem I found ( author unknown…), that could be also used on the “laurka” (laurka is a handmade card that kids make for moms, dads, grandparents…anybody!).

Za miłość ogromną…

Za czas poświęcony…

Za dobre słowo..

Za trud włożony…

Za to, że bronią…

Bajki czytają…

I potajemnie

łakocie dają… 🙂

Tulą, gdy smutno…

Uczą piosenek…

Wnusiom nakupią

cudnych sukienek…

A z wnukiem dziadek

klei modele,

i idzie na spacer

w słoneczną niedzielę…

Więc gdy nadchodzi

to święto Wasze,

przyjmijcie w podzięce

życzenia nasze…

For wonderful love …

For taking the time …

For the good word …

For all their efforts …

For that they always stand by you …

Read fairy tales …

And secretly

give sweets  … 🙂

Cuddle when you are sad …

They teach you songs …

For their granddaughters

buy marvelous dresses …

A grandfather with grandson

make ship and plane models,

and goes for a walk

on a sunny Sunday …

So when 

Your holiday is coming,

accept in gratitude

our wishes …
