In this post, I present the answers of the listening comprehension exercise on Banksy in Gaza.

A. Write the first sentence of the report from the beginning to 17:

 فنان الجرافيتي الشهير بانكسي لم يعلن عن زيارته إلى قطاع غزة ولكنه وثقها عبر جداريات رسمها على بقايا المنازل التي دمرتها الحرب الإسرائيلية الأخيرة على القطاع واختزل فيها معاناة الغزيين

B. Answer the following questions in English:

How did Banksy document his visit?

Banksy documented his visit by recording a video which he published on Instagram.

Where did Banksy make a painting in Gaza?

Banksy made a painting on the only wall remainig of a house in Beit Hanoun village in Northern Gaza.

Describe the painting.

 In the painting, there is  a cat with a pink bow around its neck playing with a ball of Iron barbed wire.

C. Answer the following questions in Arabic:

ما القضايا التي يتبناها بانكسي في رسوماته؟

يتبنى بانكسي في رسوماته قضايا سياسية واجتماعية

ما الذي ينتقده بانكسي؟

ينتقد بانكسي إسرائيل والحصار المفروض على غزة.

كيف يعلق بانكسي على الحصار؟

في إحدى لوحاته يعلق على الحصار برسم أطفال يتأرجحون في سلاسل على برج مراقبة عسكري
