In this part two post about the Jordanian Christian community, we begin by listening to part of a speech by King Abdullah the Second الملك عبدالله الثاني about preserving the Arab Christian identity الهوية المسيحية العربية and the Christian-Muslim relationship.
This clip continues to talk about the role دور of Jordanian Christians throughout history in terms of establishing Jordan تأسيس الأردن and serving in the military الجيش. It also describes how Christian and Muslim neighbors have been supportive of one another over the years.

تشهد الآثار المسيحية الممتدة في أرجاء الأردن على وجود المسيحية وحياة الإيمان والتقوى منذ القرون الأولى للمسيحية✨

كانوا ضباط في الجيش وقدموا دمهم في سبيل الوطن والدفاع عن المقدسات✨
عملوا في السياسة كوزراء وسفراء✨
كانوا المسلمون يشاركون المسيحيين في أعيادهم خصوصاً عيد الفصح✨
كانوا المسيحيين والمسلمين عايشين في نفس المدن ولهم نفس العادات والتقاليد وهناك عيش مشترك بينهما وهي علاقة تاريخية✨
