It is the last day of Ramadan and Muslims all over the world are kissing the holy month goodbye. They have worked hard all over the month and deserve some rest and reward which comes to them immediately with the Eid or feast that lasts for three days after Ramadan. Ramadan is a month full of blessings, tolerance and goodness.

     Lots of people, spoke about this holy month. The Prince of Poets; Ahmad Shawqi said;

“Fasting is your protective armor. Fasting is your paradise and protection. It is an institution of science and education; it is a worship and treatment.”

” إنَّ الــصـَّــومَ هـُــو دِرعــُــكَ الـوَاقــِــي . الـصــَّــومُ هــُــو جـَــنــَّــتــَـــكَ و حــِــمــَــايــَــتــَــك . الـصــَّـــومُ هــُــو مـَــعــَــهــَـــدٌ لـِــلــعــِـــلــْـــمِ و الــتــَّــربــيـــَــةِ , هــُـــو عــِـــبـــَـــادةٌ و مــُــعــَـــامــَـــلــَـــة .”

The scholar Mustafa Sadik Al-Raf’iee said;

“How great you are, Ramadan! If the world knew you well, they would call you the ‘school of thirty days’.”

” مـَــا أعــْــظــَـــمــَــــكَ يـــَـــا شــَـــهــْـــرَ رَمــَـــضــَــــان ! لــَــوْ عــَـــرَفــَـــكَ الــعــَــالــَـــمُ حــَــقَّ مــَـــعــْــــرِفــَـــتـــِــــكَ , لأســْـــمــَـــاكَ مــَـــدرَســـَــــةَ الــثـــَّـــــلاثــيـــــنَ يــَـــومــَــــاً .”
